Dear Global Warming Activists,
Well folks, this is the big, National Step-It-Up weekend! I hope you can all attend an event and bring friends with you - to tell Congress to "Step-it-Up and cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050."
Speaking of cooling things down, how's this for cool: The Ventura Ben and Jerry's has chosen VCCool for its charitable group to support on April 17 "Free Cone Day!" Staying cool can be sweet!

National Step-it-Up Day has arrived! And there are plenty of fun actions to attend all over the area. Some have speakers, some parades, some have petitions. But all events will help congress take the cool plunge and make 80% carbon emissions reduction by 2050 a law across the nation! Join the movement - and bring friends. and family!

Look for VCCool at the Saturday Farmer's Market. Come sign the petition to congress, hang your personal message on our clothesline, donate to VCCool, visit, & even buy fresh local food.
Be sure to pick up our new pamphlet: "A Cautionary tale about how we can all reduce our global warming impacts, one load of laundry at a time.

The Ventura Ben & Jerry's has selected VCCool as 2007 charitable organization to sponsor! So when people come in for their free cone on April 17th, they will tell them about VCCool, display our flyers, and ask if they want make a donation. All proceeds will go to VCCool!
Oh - and give them a free cone of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream!
On Free Cone Day, From 6-8p.m. NatureGirl will be playing at Ben & Jerry's. The NatureGirl band is: Rachel Morris, Magoo, and guest John Laques.
This slide show was developed by Al Gore and was the basis for his book and Academy Award-winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth.
